Hi! I’m Crystal.  I have started this blog to connect with others like myself who are embracing grace as we seek, wrestle, and press through this sometimes crazy and harrowing journey called life.  There is a whole lot to my story, some of which I will try to unwrap bit by bit on this blog, in the hope of encouraging and inspiring others to press on and in to the freedom that only Christ can bring. Some entries will be light-hearted, some will be serious; all will be me being as open, honest, and real as internet limitations allow.

an adoptive mother to 4 of the greatest gifts God has ever given me, all girls.

an overcomer of childhood sexual abuse and pornography.

a recovering food addict.

a homeschooling mommy.

totally sold out to the concept that Jesus did not die only for my eternal freedom, but for my total freedom, right now in the everyday.

a big believer in being real.
